Famous rapper Kendrick Lamar is using his Reebok sneaker design to promote equality and unity.
Kendrick Lamar, well known for his politically-charged lyrics, became a brand ambassador for the sports giant in 2014.The collaboration between brand and artist is set to release a new-line of sneakers to draw attention of the people to promote unity and equality. The motive here is to set the differences aside and come together for the benefits of all.
Lamar’s latest collection comes with a new twist on Reebok’s Club C model, and features acid-washed denim black and white on the upper part of the sneaker with a red label on the sneaker’s tongue. The branding of Reebok is made all black with ‘k’ and ‘o’ alphabets highlighted in red to represent the stars nickname – “Kdot”.
The Kenrick Lamar x Reebok Club C is set to reach the retailers from January 13, when it will carry a price tag of $109.99.
