Soon you won’t be able to turn a corner without running into something Wonder Woman themed. Thanks to Warner Bros. newly announced fashion lines, that is going to increase tenfold.
While more Wonder Woman merchandise is always a good thing, latest unveiling shows just how diverse the assortment of items is. From high fashion brands like Pret-A-Porter Designs, Nanette Lepore, Betsey Johnson, and Fred Segal to specifically brands like Her Universe, Under Armour, New Era, Torrid, and Hot Topic, there’s something for every type of Wonder Woman fan, something most will appreciate.
“Wonder Woman has always empowered fans by embodying what it is to be powerful, confident and heroic, while also expressing her grace, compassion, and femininity – in her upcoming feature film and for the last 75 years,” said Soo Koo, Warner Bros. Consumer Products’ Chief Creative Officer. “With fashion as a daily form of self-expression, we’re thrilled to bring together some of the most well-known and exciting designers in the world to create a diverse collection of high-end collaborations and street-ready apparel and accessories for fashion devotees, casual shoppers and everyone in between.”
The Pret-A-Porter pieces come from designers that include Louis Vuitton, Versace, Givenchy, D-Squared, Karl Lagerfeld, Stella McCartney, Kenzo, Lanvin, Roland Mouret, Tommy Hilfiger, and Tory Burch. “We’re delighted and honored to be working closely with such world-renowned fashion designers to celebrate Wonder Woman and the inspiration she brings to all couture corners of the world for these exclusive collaborations,” Koo added.
Fans will also be able to some stunning timepieces from Nanette Lepore Brand and A Classic Time Watch Co., and high-end accessories can be found through companies like Love and Madness and ALEX AND ANI. In addition to exclusive boutique stores, WBCP is ensuring accessibility of Wonder Woman-inspired fashion collections all over the world by teaming up with top global and mass market retailers. Best-in-class retail partner GAP continues its global collaboration with WBCP in a capsule collection inspired by the attributes of the iconic DC Super Hero and the film for women, girls, toddlers and babies. Kohl’s will feature an exclusive first-ever DC-inspired Her Universe active wear collection for young women and the young at heart, from juniors to plus sizes. Pop-culture hub Hot Topic brings on a fan-dedicated Her Universe apparel collection in-stores and online – designed for fans by fans – as Her Universe assembled the unique creative team behind this DC Super Hero-inspired collection through a unique design contest held at last year’s International Comic-Con in San Diego; as well as the online retail store for Torrid, which will also have the WW collection in plus sizes.
