Sydney, Australia: Net-a-Porter and Mr Porter have lined up a partnership with MAAS Centre for Fashion to host a ball event into celebrating Australian fashion. The Museum of Applied Arts and Sciences is Australia’s contemporary museum for excellence and innovation in applied arts and sciences.
The ball is scheduled to happen into the Powerhouse Museum inside MAAS and will be accessible to VIP guests who will be enlightened by the largest public fashion collection supporting Australian Fashion. The purpose of the ball is to celebrate and raise awareness to produce and preserve Australian fashion for generations to come and to raise money for the Australian Fashion Fund.

The ball will be held February 1, 2018, at The Powerhouse Museum hosting MAAS Director and CEO Dolla Merrillees, Edwina McCann, Elizabeth von der Goltz, Style Director at Mr Porter Olie Arnold, alongside other leaders in the Australian fashion industry, designers, international guests and government officials. The black-tie event will see guests sip Moët & Chandon champagne and Grey Goose martinis in an interactive dining experience amongst a display of gowns from the archives and Net-a-Porter.
A limited number of tickets are still available with both individual tickets and exclusive tables for 11 people on offer.
